  1. One other feature that would be useful is the ability to negate single instances of a recurring event. For example, if a newsletter is regularly scheduled for a particular day, but that day happens to fall on a holiday in one instance – right now there’s no way to remove or even mark that particular instance without just entering the entire series in as individual events.

    1. Thanks again for feedback. I will be looking at all requested features and will do my best to incorporate them. Best wishes.

  2. One feature that would be helpful would be the ability to designate days that have MULTIPLE events as a unique color on the yearly and monthly calendars (where the entire date is currently colored with the priority 0 color). This would make it more apparent that there are multiple events on that day at a glance. Is this possible?

    1. Thanks for the feedback. It is not possible in the current version. I will take this into account for the next version. Thank you.

  3. Hi Zara!
We’ve purchased Event Calendar Maker, and I LOVE it! I’ve hit one hitch that I can’t seem to resolve though: I’d like to have an event recur every OTHER month on the 3rd Tuesday. I can make it occur every month, but skipping a month is proving troublesome. Do you have any suggestions?

    1. Thanks for your feedback. Please write a product review on the product page. https://indzara.com/product/event-calendar-maker/ I sincerely appreciate it.
You can create an event to occur every other month. Or you can create an event to occur 3rd Tuesday of every month. Combining the two is not possible.
Please create each occurrence as a separate event. (Frequency Type = Nth Weekday of Mth, Enter 1 in TU fieldand 3 in N field.) Please let me know if there are any questions. Thank you. Best wishes.

      1. I had assumed as much – thankfully it’s not a lot of events (12 total) but it’d be nice to be able to do that in a future version, if possible. I’m still fleshing out the calendar but will gladly leave a review once I’ve become a bit more familiar with it.

        1. Thanks for the follow-up. Best wishes.

  4. Hi Zara,
I just purchased one of your Excel template named Event Calendar Maker but after checking it I’ve realized that it is not exactly what I am looking for. So I need to edit the formulas. You mentioned that I could do it after unlocking it.
    How can I unlock it?
Can you give me some ideas or tips about how to do it?

    Thanks

    Ian

    1. Thanks for purchasing. I have responded to your email address with information. Please reply to that if there are any questions. Thank you.

  5. The calendar looks promising for my needs, although I (like others above) need to be able to display more than 5 events per day on the ‘Monthly w Events” tab – I’ll try to make this mod myself. My question is in regard to multi-day one-time events. I’m finding that when I enter such an event, the calendar (on all tabs) displays the event only on the first day of the event, not on every day of the event. Is this intentional or a bug? I’m sure the Youtube demo video I viewed showed multi-day events displaying across multiple days on the calendar. Can you help me correct this?

    1. Thank you. Adding more than 5 events per day in the Monthly event made the font size small and hard to read in a printed page. Hence I created the Weekly and Daily views which can have more than 5 events per day.
I can completely understand the slight confusion around the multi-day events. The template is designed with daily events in mind. The Start Date and End Date represent the duration during which the event will repeat. For example, a Daily event from Sep 1 (Start Date) to Sep 5 (End Date) will appear on the calendar on each of the 5 days. Can you please try entering the event as a Daily event instead of ‘One-Time’ event? Please let me know if there are any further questions. I will be glad to help.
      Thanks for purchasing. Best wishes.

      1. Thanks for your reply. I’ll need to unlock the sheets to modify formulae – can you email me the password to unlock the worksheets and the workbook? Thanks.

        1. Not a problem. I have emailed the password. Please reply if there are any questions. Best wishes.

  6. Hi Zara,

I just purchased Event Calendar Maker, the calendar is awesome. I just have one concern I’m hoping you are able to assist me with. I’m trying to import the calendar I just made into google calendar so I can share the events to a select audience however the import has failed, do you have any recommendations on how I can successfully import the calendar into google calendar?

    Thanks

    Dean McKenzie

    1. Thanks for purchasing. I am glad that you find the Event Calendar Maker Excel template useful.
I have not had a chance to work with Google Calendar yet. I am not aware of the compatibility between Excel and Google Calendar. I am sorry.
I plan to make my products compatible with other platforms in the future.
Please let me know if there are any questions.
      Thanks.

    1. Thanks for purchasing. I have replied to your email with details. Please let me know if there are any questions. Best wishes.

  8. How do I create an event to happen every 28 days?

    1. For example, if my event starts today (Mar 24, 2015 – Tuesday) and ends Oct 10, 2015. Please follow the following.

Enter those two days as Start Date and End Date.
      Enter ‘Weekly’ for Frequency Type
Enter 1 in Weekday TU column (If your starting day is Friday, then enter 1 in Weekday FR column)
      Enter 4 for N

This will create an event that starts on Mar 24 and recur every 4 weeks (28 days).

Please let me know if this helps.

      Thank you,
