INDZARA

Thank you!

As 2015 comes to an end, I would like to take the opportunity to say Thanks. Thanks to all of you for your support to indzara.com.

indzara thanks 2015

It has been an eventful year. This site was launched with the store in mid-Jan 2015 and all the blog content (indzara.blogspot.com) were migrated over here. I left my job in September to focus on indzara.com. Since then, I have been able to spend a lot more time with my son. He started his pre-school on the last day of my employment. 🙂 I have been fortunate to drop him in his pre-school in the mornings at 9 am and pick him up at 1 pm.

There is a long way to go to establish the financial side of indzara.com. I continue to focus on quality of products and service.

Product Quality

The quality includes designing the products with the core principles – Simplicity and Effectiveness. It is a delicate balance as I try to expand the scope and functionality, without sacrificing the simplicity. I remind myself regularly on this core principle as it is easier to end up with a product all-encompassing and complex. I continue to build products that are easy to use for even those who are beginners in Excel.

Product Functionality

I listened to customer feedback and came up with upgraded versions of products. I have published the 3rd version of Event Calendar Maker and 2nd version of many including Task Manager, Manufacturing Inventory & Sales Manager, U.S. State Heat Map and Project Planner (Advanced).

Product Support

I have increased the amount of support material for the products. I post more video tutorials and blog posts on how to further leverage the templates to go beyond the base functionality. Example: Event Calendar Maker Support Page

As promised, customers who purchased any version received their later versions for free via an email.

Feedback

There have been 80 customer reviews as of today. 73% are 5-star reviews. 98% are 4 or 5 star reviews. Thank you for all the feedback. The positive response gives me the motivation to continue building out products.

Apart from reviews, there have been 500+ comments in 2015. Half of those are mine, as I do my best to respond to each one of the comments. I respond to them as soon as I can, with 99% of them within 24 hours.

The free Excel course for beginners is available on YouTube and Udemy.  As of today, it has touched 80 reviews and almost all of them 5-stars.  Thank you.

Social

YouTube has been the primary social media channel. We crossed 2000 subscribers in November. Posting videos of the template and explaining how the template works help the users understand better. Users can make the right decision on whether the template will meet their needs. I am beginning to learn and use Facebook.

As we move into 2016, the focus will be the same – best quality products and service. If you have any suggestions for products, I look forward to hearing from you.

My best wishes to everyone for a happy 2016. Thank you.
