    Recently purchased your Retail Business Manager Sheet, I would like to change it so that I can print a Delivery Note, same as Invoice but no financial details and a signed for at the bottom of the page.

    Really good, just what we wanted.

  • I would lik.e to have an updated file for India ( RBM), whereas the invoice prices need to be manually adjusted. Tax has to be broken in atleast three columns due to GST ( IGST,CGST & Cess),

    Secondly how the inventory is updated. Is it is based on PO . It would be better if there is file which take the sales and purchases qty separately.

  • Dear Dinesh,

    I recently purchased the Retail Business Manager Template and while trying out the initial setup. I discovered that some columns are not automatically populated.

    What is the point inputting Product details in the Products Worksheet when I still have to manually input the Product details in the Order details Worksheet?

    Why can’t I just pick the Product details from a drop down

    1. Date fields don’t pop up a calendar from which date can be selected from.
    There is also no specific date format for entering a date data.

    2. The Invoice worksheet does not have a drop down to pick customer or partner details such as name, address, email, phone

    3. The IDs such as Product ID, Order ID, Partner ID etc should be generated.

    I eagerly await your response.

      1. Only the Product ID has to be entered in the Order Details. Rest of the info about the product will be automatically pulled.
      a.The Product ID field has data validation already and it will not allow invalid Product IDs. To enable drop down list, please do the following.
      Select the cell in the Product ID column and then choose Data -> Data Validation -> check in-cell dropdown.
      2. Date fields do not have calendar date pickers. Excel does not have that feature yet as default. Please enter dates as MM/DD/YYYY
      3. Invoice sheet is fully automated. Once we enter the Order number, all the customer details, order details and product details will be automatically populated.
      4. IDs are not automatically generated. Though it will be a useful feature, it may make the entire workbook more complicated and require macros. Currently our templates are simple and created without macros.

      If the template does not meet your needs, please let us know and we will issue a full refund.

    I bought Retail Business Manager Template from you last day and I am putting my products into that.
    Now, I found one problem at “ORDER HEADERS”. You mentioned above that “Type of Order (Purchase, Sale, Quote, Estimate, Adjust)” but I cannot find or select those types in the excel sheet.

    Please kindly explain anything I need

    • Thanks for purchasing. Please note that the drop down list will appear only inside the table. So, for example, in row 4, you should see the drop down list. Once you start typing in cell A5, then row 5 becomes part of the table. Then, the drop down list will appear for row 5.

  • While generating the invoice or purchase order, i only get to see 2 pages. However, i am a distributor and most of the times i have huge number of products per invoice/purchase order. Is there any way to get atleast 5 pages of invoice/purchase order ?

    • Sorry, the template supports only 2 page of invoice/purchase order.

    • The template does not limit by currency. You can click on cells and then change the number format (Ctrl+1) to any currency including USD. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks. Best wishes.

    Having trouble with constant value of invoice. It comes from =H_I!O3 wanted to change it to my native language but don’t seem to be able to find where it is coming from?

    I have just purchased the retail business manager excel template.

    I hit error on order details sheet on the “Price Check Row column” , it returns “no price” but the prices and products has been setup.

    Please help to provide fix on it.

    • Thanks for purchasing. My guess is that the effective date of price (in the Prices sheet) is later than the Order date of the order. If so, then the template cannot find an effective price on that order date and thus returns no price. Pleas ensure prices are available as of the order date. If this does not resolve the issue, please email me the file at indzara@gmail.com and I can take a look at why the prices do not populate. Thanks & Best wishes.

        • Thanks for sending the file. I can see the price being auto-populated.
          Can you please send me screenshots of how it looks in your computer? Also, please check if the dates (Effective date in the Prices sheet, and Order Date in Order Headers sheet) are entered in the correct date format. Date formats vary by language/country.

      • My guess is that dates (Effective date in the Prices sheet, and Order Date in Order Headers sheet) are entered in a different date format. Date formats vary by language/country.
        To check if Excel is recognizing as a date, please see Number format menu. If it recognizes it as date, it is good. If it recognizes as text, we need to change how we enter the date.
