    My name is Meghana Choudhari, and I’m seeking your assistance with a job profile template for a Sr. Purchase Manager role. I would like to modify this template to match my responsibilities, specifically for a company that supplies electronic components.

    Below are my key job responsibilities, which I need the template to accommodate:

    1. Manage a team of 20 individuals, with each person responsible for a different project.
    2. Each team member is assigned to manage various project and suppliers, and we need to:
    – Maintain a separate sheet for costing of each project.
    – Identify the lowest cost option for each project and capture it in a separate sheet.
    – Prepare a consolidated sheet highlighting the lowest-cost options across projects.
    – Prepare sheet as per one supplier support how many parts and how many projects.
    3. Create charts that display supplier data for each project individually, as well as a combined chart across all projects.
    4. Develop interactive features where:
    – Clicking on a project name provides detailed ordering status for that project.
    – Clicking on a supplier reveals the number of projects where that supplier has been used, as well as the lead time for the products.

    I would greatly appreciate any support in customizing this template to meet the above requirements.
    Or suggest me which template combination I use from your website.

  • Hello. Stumbled across your templates and I think they are great. I wonder how much your custom templates for PTO and time tracking – there are couple templates that show good potential but would need to be customized.
    One is 2024 Leave Tracker and Vacation tracker – we thought it would be nice to be used by a manager to keep visual of the guys in the department and their actual and projected/planned time off,
    and the other one is individual PTO Tracker, that allows individual employees enter their HR data and see the plotted graph of their PTO build-up and PTO use.
    If those two templates would talk to each other (more likely, from Individual spreadsheet to the manager spreadsheet), that would be great.

    The templates would be stored on network drive, accessible by employees and by manager. I have started working on making the links from file to files, but it seems that my skills and knowledge are not on par with the task.

    Do you think it is doable? And if so, how much would it cost?

    I was wondering if it is possible to have the dashboard in the employee leave tracker show the whole year instead of a month by month. Could I maybe include a macro?

      Following are the steps to expand the same:

      1. Unprotect the template using the password indzara
      2. Add 335 columns between monthly summary and calendar.
      3. Change the AG7 formula to = AF7+1.
      4. Then select AG6 to AG37 along with the newly added columns.
      5. Press CTRL+R to duplicate the formulas present in Column AG6 to AG37 to the newly added columns.
      6. Protect the sheet again to ensure the formulas are not edited accidently.

    The only other calendar template that I would love to have is days 1-31 down column A (cell 2 to 32) which contain days of the week in column B and then the months in the columns C-N.
    I am trying to adjust one of your existing templates but the long text strings is scary 🙂

      Following is the procedure to increase the number of combinations:

      1. Right-click tab name and unhide the hidden help tab.
      2. Increase the series in column F on help tab to more numbers.
      3. Duplicate the formulas in column G to column L by selecting the last row (For example: G502:L502) with formula and more rows by holding SHIFT key. Then press CTRL+D to duplicate the formula.
      4. Repeat the same in column P on combinations tab.

    IT WAS REALLY HELPFUL AND NICE
    THE ONLY CHANGE I LIKE WOULD BE MORE OPTIONS FOR PAYMENTS , LIKE DATES , TYPE – CASH OR VIA BANK, MORE CUSTOMISED OPTIONS FOR PAYMENTS.
    SOMETIMES TRERE ARE MULTIPLE PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS OF THE SAME INVOIICE AND MUST BE RECORDED EACH ONE SEPARATELY.
    SO IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE TO HAVE A TEMPLATE FOR RECORDING CUSTOMERS SALE AND THEIR PAYMENTS RECEIVED.

    Question to Resource Capacity Planner.
    I have resources from different countries in 1 team. I want to enter bank holidays according to their countries, that it will automatically decrease capacity only for person who is from Saudi Arabia or Germany. Not for all. Please reply, it’s important.

    I downloaded your free Retail_Inventory_Tracker_ET0120022010001 file.
    Not that I need it, but just to see how it was made.
    Because I want to learn how to make an small and simple Inventory program all by myself based on the way you made it for my sister in the Philippines, she has a sari-sari store.
    I know you using macros but I can’t see anything if I open Developer in your program.

    Would it be possible to tell me what to do to make everything in your program visible so that I can learn from your macros how to make a program myself.

    I am looking for an inventory manager that can do the following;

    1. Upload new inventory items using a form and barcode scanner.
    2. Assign an expiry date to every inventory item. There should be a sheet in the workbook that lists all the items approaching expiry date so they can be replaced within time.
    3. For every customer, I want to be able to complete a purchase order form using a barcode scanner. When the barcode is scanned the item description and cost should be stated. I should also be able to enter the number of each item required using barcode. On each purchase order, the total cost should be stated.
    4. I should be able to print out the purchase order and save it to a separate folder. As there will be many purchase orders, I want to be able empty (delete) the folder.

      You can extend the tables in the hidden sheets to accommodate more items. However, the functionality would be compromised once the number of items grows.

    rent duration is 3 to 8 days.
    50% we are taking advances and rest of the amount is paid after returning the dresses by the customer.

    Actually I’m a dealer and I’m kind of in need of tracking the payments.
    For example I sell to 5 customers, and I buy from 3 sellers. So now I need to pay the sellers, then I ask my customers to bank-in to the sellers accounts, (usually sellers give more than 1 account).
    In this situation when I have more 50 persons and 80 accounts, How can I track and manage who pay who and which account and how much ?!
    Could you please at least tell me any guidance?

    I am a store keeper in a garage- My daily job is to update the daily parts purchases & daily parts utilize in garage.

    On weekly basis my boss want to see the summery of total parts purchased with cost & total parts utilized with cost and current day stock of parts with valuation.

  • Good morning! I don’t currently utilize your products, but have suggested your PTO Manager spreadsheet to my Manager in hopes that we can purchase it. Can your PTO Manager tool be used to manage FMLA leave? Thank you!

    • Thanks for your interest. Glad to hear.
      The PTO Manager allows to handle 2 PTO types at a time. It can be any type of PTO as long as they are tenure based accruals. For example, if the employee accrues 10 weeks of PTO balance annually at the beginning of the year, then that can be set up.

How it is capturing the values from the Tamilnadu population cell in Geographic heat map sheet.

  • I’ve just downloaded the Sales Track Pipeline sheet, and I found it very useful thanks for sharing your effort.
    I also added couple of columns to calculate each customer value as follows:
    50% for the deal value
    30% for potential deals value
    20% for referrals and recommendations
    I wonder if you have any comments on that

  • I am currently using an Excel spreadsheet with drop down menus to choose our products. We manually figure our prices and enter them. I am looking to build a more user friendly version for the staff. I would like a platform that we can enter a patient name and then choose the product or service they are purchasing. I would like to be able to search those products according to their description or SKU numbers also I want this information still tracked daily and monthly for my reports.

    What is your suggestion on how to go about this?

    • I am not completely sure what exactly is the missing price. To search on product names, we can use the FIND or SEARCH function. The result of that can be stored in an array (or range of cells) and then used as the data validation list. Tracking as reports can be done through SUMIF and/or COUNTIF functions. Pivot tables can also be used for that instead of formulas.

BUT AFTER VEGETABLE IS COOKED AND FINISH, YOU CAN WEIGH COOKED FINISHED VEGETABLE. MY PRODUCT IS MADE IN SIMILAR MANNER. HOW CAN I KEEP TAB ON MY RAW MATERIAL INPUTS IN THIS SCENARIO USING YOUR TEMPLATE. ALSO MY SALES ORDERS ARE ONCE IN A YEAR WITH BULK QUANTITIES, I SHOULD SUPPLY SMALL QUANTITIES FROM THAT SALES ORDER FOR WHOLE YEAR UNDER SAME SALES ORDER NUMBER.

  • hello Ind can you make a stock control system please im having trouble creating one for my business.

    I have client requirements I have to meet.

    We would like our system to:
    1. Uniquely identify our resources by an ID tag of some kid- this will help with organisation within the cupboard to keep everything in order, this could also help prevent loss of items.
    2. Keep a record of the number of these items in stock- this will help solve the problem of knowing what’s in stock and how many of each product there is.
    3. Contain a description of the item- this will help users know what each piece of equipment is used for. This will also help with the auto reordering.
    4. Note where the item is purchased from- this will help with ordering more stock when stock levels are low.
    5. Have an automatic re-ordering system- this will help keep stock levels up so there is never items out of stock.
    6. Keep a record of where in the department the item(s) is stored
    7. Note who used it last in the case of larger, valuable items such as Raspberry Pi computers
    8. Have a user manual
    9. Have a manual for maintenance – so that we can add and remove items as necessary
    10. Have different levels of user access – so I could be an administrator with full access but other teachers would have more limited access to the system to prevent errors happening
    11. Some form of validation so that duplicates/errors are minimised

    Few clarifications on the free excel planner. Resource Summary report shows hours available 480 which i understand it is calculated based on 60 days * no of hours for the day by default. Instead it should be based on Project Due date which will be more accurate in Resource Hours calculation. is that possible

    Are you going to be updating the School Attendance Register and Report? It would be very, very helpful to have more options in the register (E=excused absences, U=unexcused absences, leaving blanks for certain students without changing or hurting their attendance rate, etc.). Thanks.
