I just now purchased and trying to use it in google sheet. But, it does not look to be working as expected. The Skills drop down does not populate any option even after adding skills in the settings sheet. Kindly help.

I purchased the capacity plan template yesterday, but I wanted to add another sheet for the projects, so I can create a pivot table to cross between resources / capacity / projects.
Would it be possible to unlock the sheets so I can add my customizations?

Can this template be used as a Project online report?
Can you please clarify what you mean by Project Online report? This is a stand-alone regular Excel file with no connections to any other system.

I want to replace the skill group with type of work that they do ( for example , projects, admin , training, PTO) and also if I want to assign some % to each resource ( how I can do that)
For example, I need one resource split into 3 Skill groups ( 33%, 33%, 34%)
Could I able to do that?
You can use the Skill field to reflect the type of work done.
In this template, we provide the demand for each skill group, as user input. For capacity, we provide resource availability and time off and the template calculates the capacity.
One resource can be split into 3 resources (each assigned to different skill groups). Then, enter availability data accordingly.

For capacity, if I need to split it into 3 resources, I need to add them 3 times with the same name and assign the skill group?? This will also allow me to use the employee dashboard correct?
If a resource is performing 3 different skills, then we can enter as 3 different resources (different names) and assign each to a different skill group. We have to ensure that the capacity (availability by weekday and vacation) are entered correctly.

Hi,
I love this template and would like to use it for planning team capacity in a Finance Shared Services business. There are about 5 different teams of around 5 people each. My questions are:
1. Can we take the template and modify it add volume drivers for demand? The demand is not fixed but rather based on incoming calls or claims. So I want to modify the demand sheet
2. Is the model able to be modified in Excel?

Thank you. The template comes with the password to unprotect. You can edit as needed. Right now, the demand sheet is set up as user entered data. You can put formulas in there to calculate demand based on some other data.

Currently there’s a limitation of 100 resources in this template. Is there a way of modifying the code to increase the amount of resources able to be reported on to increase to 200 resources for example?
