Project Manager – Excel Template – Support
PLEASE VISIT PROJECT MANAGER EXCEL TEMPLATE FOR THE CURRENT VERSION.
This Excel template can be used to plan and manage a project. The template saves time by auto-scheduling of tasks. It provides smart visual feedback (example: identifying tasks that will not complete) and thus helping to tweak the project plan and improve. Actual work can be tracked and project plan would update instantly. You can visualize the project in a dashboard, report, Gantt charts and Burn down chart.
Further to my question, it looks like I am missing 2 tabs in my sheet, Resource View and Calc_1
Those tabs/sheets are hidden and used only for calculations necessary in the background. They are not needed to be visible for default functioning of the template. However, if you would like, you can right click on any visible tab name and choose unhide. Then, choose any hidden sheet to unhide it. Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks & Best wishes.
I am experiencing a problem viewing the actual in Dashboard, even when I entered actual hours spent, it still shows 0 in the dashboard Resource Summary Actual part.
Can you please advise.
Thank you very much
Thanks for purchasing. Please confirm if you have refreshed the data from ‘DATA ribbon – Refresh All’. This would update Dashboard calculations.
Please email me the file to indzara at gmail dot com, if there are any further questions. Thanks. Best wishes.
When a task is completed and entered in the ACTUALS sheet, does it update the GANTT sheet? The task was planned for November 5, but was completed on November 1. The task was introduced in the ACTUALS sheet, but no update is visible in the GANTT sheet.
Thanks. Please confirm if you have refreshed the data from ‘DATA ribbon – Refresh All’. This would update the calculations including Gantt chart. I did that just now and I am able to see Gantt update with Nov 1st. Please let me know if there are any further questions. Thanks. Best wishes.
One of the features states that it accommodates up to 25 resources. Does that mean per project or per task or per spreadsheet in general? Would this spreadsheet be able to track multiple projects at a time or would there have to be a new spreadsheet per project?
Project Manager Excel template is designed for only one project at a time. To manage two separate projects, a new copy of the workbook has to be used. Maximum 25 resources can be handled for each project.
I plan to publish a template that can manage multiple projects, in the future. Project Planner (Advanced) https://indzara.com/product/project-planner-advanced-excel-template/ allows planning multiple projects at a time, but it doesn’t provide tracking actual work vs Plan.
Please let me know if there are any questions. Thanks.
