Free Excel Templates

Welcome to the hub for free Excel template downloads that are simple to use and effective at solving needs in business and home. 

You would need Microsoft Excel to use these templates. Most templates are compatible with Excel 2010 (or above) for Windows and Excel 2011 (or above) for Mac. However, newer templates require Microsoft Excel 2016 and some like our Stock Market templates require Microsoft 365 subscription.

  • Hi ,
    Few clarifications on the free excel planner. Resource Summary report shows hours available 480 which i understand it is calculated based on 60 days * no of hours for the day by default. Instead it should be based on Project Due date which will be more accurate in Resource Hours calculation. is that possible

    • I agree. Formulas would have to be modified to make that adjustment. I will try to improve this free template when I find time. I am sorry that I am unable to work on it immediately. Thank you.

  • Your Excel templates are very helfful. I need a built in model for Prepaid and accrual for my company commerical license which are renewed at different date so I need to book prepaid and accrual as well when the prepayment is over. I have different license so help me.

  • Hello,

    I have a question about t he templete projectplanner: is it possible to give a resource different workhours for a week? For example John works 27 hours in a week and his schedule is monday 7,5 hours, Tuesday 7,5 hours, Wednesday 4 hours en Thursday 7,5 hours?

    I was wondering if you had and tips with putting together a check in and check out system for a library. I am working on archiving all the tapes at my local tv station and need a way to check them in and out like they would do with books at a library.

    Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • Hi,

    Are you going to be updating the School Attendance Register and Report? It would be very, very helpful to have more options in the register (E=excused absences, U=unexcused absences, leaving blanks for certain students without changing or hurting their attendance rate, etc.). Thanks.

  • Hello Indzara,
    I have worked for about four years as a Project Manager in one of the biggest African countries.
    Currently, I head the PMO (Project Management Office) in my organisation and part of the description of the role is programme report.
    One of the needed resources is a wholistic Dashboard.
