Inventory and Sales Manager – v2 (for 2000 products)

Several of you have left comments or e-mailed me asking for the Inventory and Sales Manager template to support more than 100 products. I have posted a new version (v2) of the template that will allow 2000 products. All the other features remain the same. Please visit the original post to download the new version. The Template file and the Sample data file for v1 have been replaced with the files for v2.

Please try the new version and let me know your feedback.

  • Hi Mr. Zara, I went through the excel report of retail inventory and sales management, am really thanking for the effort to have our life our easer. thus, it comes to mind that the report also needs some futures to be added for example if the business running the operation through multiple retails store, how can a manager see the sales of the product for each branch.
is there a way to do it?

  • This is an awesome program. I have enjoyed that easy steps needed in order to keep up with my inventory. Thanks, you are such a BIG HELP!

    • You are very welcome. Thank you so much for your feedback. I am glad that you find it useful. Best wishes.

  • Good day Mr. Zara, I was looking for good & simple to use inventory software and I came across this. I have tried the free version and also read through what the premium version will do if purchased. And I must say that you did a very good job. The premium will work for my business perfectly. Two things that I think is missing in this template are (1). there is no provision to account for goods return due to defects or complaints and (2). creating space for % margin to be apply for good to be sold on the template.
Accounting for goods return due to defects on the template will allow for proper inventory balance. Also applying %margin on each goods will help to tidy sales and eliminate mistakes. Kindly see how this can be incorporated into this template. Meanwhile am buying the premium template because this is good. I will be expecting an upgrade based on this my recommendation

    • Thanks for your compliments.
When goods are returned and they can be resold, please create a new SALE order and enter items in negative quantity. This will increase the inventory and reduce the sales amount accordingly.
When goods are returned and cannot be resold (defects), then please create a new SALE order and enter items in negative quantity. Then, create another SALE order and sell it to Partner (named Defects) with positive quantity and zero price. This will reduce the inventory (since the goods cannot be resold) and result in zero sales amount (assuming you may not get any money for a defective product)
Please elaborate on the margin %. I am not following your concept exactly.
Thanks for your feedback and Best wishes.
